Windows says "Windows protected your PC"

That's SmartScreen, which warns about new apps it hasn't seen many downloads of yet. Click More info, then Run anyway. The warning goes away as more players install Diffd.

What do I need?

Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), League of Legends, and a graphics card from the last few years (NVIDIA, AMD or Intel). About 3 to 9 GB of free disk space per hour of recorded games, depending on the recording quality in Settings. When space runs low, Diffd removes the oldest recordings you didn't keep.

A game wasn't recorded

Diffd has to be running when the game starts; it can sit in the tray. Check Settings for a recorder warning. TFT games aren't recorded.

Where are my clips?

Click Folder at the top of the library to open the folder they're saved in. Each game has its own folder with the full recording, the clips and the edited shorts. On any play, the folder button shows that file.

Posting to a platform fails

Open Posts and click Retry. If it says the account needs reconnecting, click Connect again in Settings. Some platforms limit how many videos a new account can post a day.

Cancel Pro or get a refund

Settings, Your plan, Manage subscription. In the EU you can get a full refund within 14 days of subscribing: just write to us.

Delete my data

Is Diffd allowed by Riot?

Diffd only reads the game data Riot makes available to apps on your computer while you play, and records your screen like any streaming software. It doesn't change the game or give an in-game advantage.
