Deleting your data

Diffd keeps your recordings and social sign-ins on your own computer, so most of your data is removed from the app itself:

1. Open Diffd, go to Settings, and click Disconnect next to each linked account. Its tokens are deleted from your computer.
2. Optionally, remove Diffd from the platform's own list of connected apps (for Facebook and Instagram: Settings > Apps and websites).
3. Shared clips on our server expire on their own; revoke one early from the app's share menu.
4. Uninstalling Diffd and deleting its folder removes everything on your computer.

To have everything about your device removed from our server (share links, friends, AI usage counts, plan status), email support@getdiffd.com and we'll delete it within 30 days. Payment records we must keep by law are kept, but nothing else.
